Delete your account and data

This page applies to the Sai Rhythms and Sai Speaks mobile apps (Android packages org.sairegion3.sairhythms and org.sairegion3.saispeaks, iOS bundle IDs org.sairegion3.sai.rhythms and org.sairegion3.saispeaks), which serve Sathya Sai Devotional Songs and Divine Discourses of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. You can ask us to delete your account and the data linked to it at any time.

How to request deletion

Send an email to apps@sairhythms.org with the subject Delete my Sai Rhythms account. You can also use Contact Us in the app and write the same request.
Send it from the email address you use to sign in (your Google or Apple account email) so we can verify that the request comes from you. If you signed in with Apple's "Hide My Email", include the relay address shown in the app under Settings → Account.
We will confirm by email, delete the data listed below and tell you when it is done. We normally complete deletion within 30 days of verifying your request.

What is deleted

Your sign-in account and identifiers linked to it (email address, user ID, name).
Your cloud backup: songlists, bookmarks, notes and app settings saved to your account.
Messages, attachments (photos, PDF files, screenshots) and voice notes sent through Contact Us, and feedback survey answers linked to your email address.
Device and installation identifiers that we hold for your account.

What may be kept, and for how long

Anonymous or aggregated usage and crash statistics cannot be linked back to you and may be kept.
Records we must keep for legal or security reasons (such as abuse or fraud prevention logs) are kept only as long as required, up to 90 days, then deleted.
Backups of our systems that still contain deleted data are overwritten in the normal backup cycle, within 90 days.

Delete some data without deleting your account

Write to the same address to delete only part of your data, for example a Contact Us message or your cloud backup. Data stored only on your device is removed when you clear the app's storage in your phone settings or uninstall the app.
